It’s time for Christmas crochet! Today, I’ll be showing you how to crochet holly leaf with berries using a free pattern with step by step video tutorial. There are some various plants associated with Christmas, but only few have such a long and varied history like the holly leaf.
Way before holly leaves were hung in our houses to accompany Christmas trees, they were considered to be sacred plants, symbols of fertility and eternal life.
While other plants wilted in winter, holly remained green and blossomed with it’s berries a brightly colored red even in the harsh weather.
